Associate Attorney

Olivia C. Voleta joined Goostree Law Group in 2022 as an associate attorney. Olivia knew since a young age that she wanted to become an attorney after watching many movies portraying the profession at a high level of prestige and glamour. Growing up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Olivia desired to attend a Big Ten University, and after visiting Michigan State University, she knew that is where she wanted to be. Graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Eli Broad College of Business, she knew that her time at Michigan State was not over. While attending Michigan State University College of Law, Olivia was awarded the Jurisprudence Achievement Award in Advocacy and was an extern at a local law firm. During the summer of 2012, Olivia spent her time clerking at a mid-sized family law firm in downtown Chicago. There she was able to gain the knowledge of and experience in a variety of family law matters, thereon sparking her interest in that concentration. Olivia graduated with her Juris Doctor from Michigan State in 2013.
Licensed in Illinois since 2015, Olivia started her professional legal career at a large corporation in downtown Chicago as a staff attorney providing legal assistance in various areas of the law to a multitude of different companies, including Fortune 500 companies. After wanting to narrow her concentration to family law and be in the courtroom, Olivia became an associate attorney in October of 2019 at a boutique law firm in Lombard. She primarily represented clients and handled matters in divorce, child support, parental allocation time and responsibilities, and parentage court in DuPage, Cook, Will, Kane, and Kendall counties. Furthermore, she assisted with and represented clients in criminal defense, traffic, and expungement matters.
Olivia strives to bring trust and comfort to all clients. She actively listens to a client's goals and needs and has their best interests every step of the way. Hoping to bring ease at a difficult time, she is always prepared, passionate, and keeps her clients informed throughout the entirety of their proceedings. She discusses all potential options for and with her clients and provides in-depth information and explanations to the legal process.
